The Vindolanda Trust posted on their Facebook page that yesterday on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 they have unearthed a 3rd century CE gaming board during the routine excavations, at Vindolanda Roman Fort at Hadrian’s Wall, in Westwood, Hexham, UK. The gaming board appears to me to be a 9×9 Ludus Latrunculorum board.
